I wanted to let you know about the 2 upcoming swap meets.  The first one is next Saturday!

Saturday 25 May – 11:00am – 12:30pm

Shop 15, 66-104 Springfield Road

Blackburn North  VIC

Make sure you come along because there will be lots of spot prizes to win! And if you are missing cards, we will try and help you find them!

Winners of the School Holiday Comp

27 Apr

And whilst we are on a winning roll!! here are the winners of the School Holiday photo comp.

We just loved Maddy and Laura’s photo of them exploring the mines in Bendigo with their FC Card “We had a lot of adventures after dark”.  That is soooo cool that one of our cards went down into a mine.

And the runner up was Ruby W who took a photo of Matilda’s I dream to be swap card with Matilda holding a koala, outside the koala enclosure at the zoo!  Cute.

Thanks to everyone.  We will do that again next holidays because it’s so much fun.

Don’t forget that colouring comp entries are due by the end of April.  So get colouring.

Winners of the ANZAC competition

Hi girls

Guess what?  We couldn’t decide who should win the ANZAC day competition.  We have never seen so many beautiful entries.  In the end we chose a winner and a runner up, but then we chose 4 other “runners ups” who will each receive a set of 3 glitter cards.  To everyone else who entered, thank you so much.

Our winner was Isabella (8) who took a photo of her entry with some rosemary sprigs.

Our runner up was Emerson, who put so much detail into her clover.

      School was fun. I love Friday because we have 2 lessons of sport and we are practising for cross country so we get to run around the block. Heaps of kids hate cross country but I love it. But then I don’t really like soccer or diving or table tennis, so I guess it’s OK if the others don’t love running as much as I do!

ANZAC Day – Lest we forget

We learnt a lot this week about the importance of ANZAC Day.

On ANZAC Day, the 25th of April, we remember the brave men and women who have served our country in times of war and those who are still serving to protect us.

People who have defended our country get special medals. These medals are proudly worn on ANZAC Day when we especially remember all the people who have died or suffered in wars so that we might live freely.

We are so happy that we received so many beautiful ANZAC clovers.  Well done everyone to everyone who entered. They are so special that deciding who wins is almost impossible.

    Hi FC. I have been at camp. I went to Beechworth. I got back on Friday last week. I had so much fun. We went to the lolly shop, honey shop and the cordial brewrie. I did lot’s of other stuff too.

Monday comp to win Kate’s book

      Well they were supposed to be out now but there is a bit of a delay and so we are now looking at mid May, which is a bit sad. But they are coming and they will be cool!

Hi girls

You know that we all love a mystery.  Well we have one for you to solve.  Who sent in this picture of me?  I really love it and I want to thank them.  It came in the mail this week but some of the envelopes got lost from the mail…..

    It is real poo no one is saying it’s there picture.
    Guess what we r on holiday for five days we r at day 2 and my family has had so much fun
    Today we drove up this really windy road and at the top it had snow and we r in April then in the afternoon we had a leaf fight where we gathered all the leaves we could find and through them at each other tomorrow we r going to somes walks then some waterfalls
    Can’t wait

We love it when you send us things in to share.  Makes my job of finding something to tell you about SOOO much easier! LOL.

Hi Abbey,

In my spare time I wanted to copy a forever clover card.
I thought Moby was an easy card to copy. I hope you like it.
I put a lot of effort in to it. I love all my forever clover cards.

Emily also then wrote this poem which is quite funny:
Once upon a time in the town of Daveys Bay, six girls met on a farm stuck in a bundle of hay. They all got together and formed a group, they said no one else can sign up for recruit. They didn’t mean it in a nasty way, the just took the sheet down and walked away. They called it the forever clover club.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sophie.  Thanks for letting us know it was your birthday today.  I hope you had the best day ever.  Are you still on school holidays.  What did you do?

    I have got a 7 year old sister and a 5 year old brother who really love forever clover cards just like me. My brother said he wants to get every single thing of forever clover LOL!!!

    We went to a little play house with bouncy castles slides ball pits and a trampoline.
    We went on the giant slide the bouncy castle in the ball pit and on the trampoline.
    We brought a chocolate cake that had cherrys on top the cake was delicous.
    We had heeps and heeps and heeps of fun at the play house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winners of the March Colouring Comp

It has taken us ages to all get together in the club house and decide the winners of the March colouring comp.  We loved using the logo.  It was so much fun.

9 years and under category

The winner of the 9 years and under category was Aimee (8) with this butterfly entry.  So much colour.

And the runner up was Dante (7) with this fishy entry!  Cool blue!

10 years plus category

The winner of the 10 years and over category was Jennifer (11) with this super FC cool and detailed entry.

And the runner up was Olivia (10).  Such pretty pastel colours Olivia.

But a massive thank you you all of you for entering and special mentions to Laura, Abbey, Tayah, Maddy, Olivia and Zara.
